Mr. Shali Attia Al-Jeedani

The idea of establishing a private medical college in Saudi Arabia struck me for several years when my son and daughter were studying medicine abroad. I appreciated their efforts leaving home and struggling in another country to fulfill their dreams. The Saudi authorities’ decision to allow the private sector to contribute to higher education gave me real encouragement to proceed in turning this idea into reality.

My team and I have striven to prepare the most conducive environment for teaching and learning medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing in order to provide society with highly qualified healthcare professionals. We selected the most suitable and up-to-date curricula to stimulate active learning, critical thinking, skills development and creativity. We also worked on constructing classrooms and laboratories, furnishing them with modern equipment to enhance the learning process. In addition, a 120-bed modern teaching hospital was built and equipped for clinical training.
