CLINICAL RESTORATIVE PROCEDURES-I [CDS 311]

This is the first clinical course in the restorative dentistry which introduces the student to the clinical diagnosis of diseases of the hard structures of the tooth like dental caries , attrition , abrasion, and erosion and this course presents a systematic approach to the treatment modality for the hard structure lesions. Student apply their pre-clinical knowledge which they have imbibed in the previous year while treating the patient.

The purpose of this course for the next 2 semesters is to teach you all to be an operative dentist, to be able to diagnose and jolt down the treatment options to this endemic oral hard tissue lesion. During your stay with me , I will make sure that the fundamentals of the operative dentistry like knowledge about the diagnosis , listing the treatment options and selection of restorative materials is emphasized, so as to make you all confident in your future career.
