“We look forward to graduating the first batch of students at the end of the academic year 2009-2010.”

The idea of having a private medical college in Saudi Arabia struck me several years when my son and daughter were studying medical abroad. I appreciated their difficulties in leaving home to go to other surroundings. The decision of the Saudi authorities to allow the private sector to participate within higher education gave me real encouragement to proceed in turning this idea into realty. My team and I have striven to prepare the most conducive environment for teaching and learning medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and nursing – in order to provide society with highly qualified healthcare professionals.
We have selected the most suitable and up-to-date curricula to stimulate active learning, critical thinking, skills development and creativity. We have also worked on constructing classrooms and laboratories, furnishing them with modern equipment to enhance the learning process. In addition, a 120-bed modern teaching hospital has been built and equipped for clinical training.
